MILANO DESIGN WEEK
2022
In Sensitivity, art, light and sound interact synergistically, generating an emotional space. In this ideal place of reflection, the dance between art and light takes place, capable of opening hearts and make them open to listening to the delicate theme of breast cancer, sensitizing them to the importance of prevention.
Sensitivity invites us to reflect, it calls us to take care of ourselves and of others, it celebrates life.
The installation develops on the sides of the space in a multiplication of abstractions of woman breasts, composed of elements of different thicknesses and colors. Such works interact with Prismatic light, diffused through crystals and able to modify the perception of colors and depths to the rhythm of a sweet diffused sound.
Sensitivity is art, it is beauty, it is self-care. And it is precisely this last social message of the installation that is addressed to women. The project draws attention to active participation in maintaining health through prevention and adherence to screening programs, in particular to bridge diagnostic delays caused by the pandemic period.
For this reason, Sensitivity, in occasion of Milan Design Week 2022, has received the patronage of Europa Donna Italia, a movement that protects the rights of women to the prevention and treatment of breast cancer.
